We are looking for a dynamic individual and expert that will serve as the Director of Technology. You will lead and work alongside a dynamic IT team to further enhance the overall technology strategy and digital engagement services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills combined with a high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills and will define the IT Technology vision, strategy and roadmap.
Impact You'll Make
- Take a strategic lead and be responsible for the planning, implementation, management and delivery of technology services across the school ranging from Kindergarten to Business College
- Liaise with Department Heads and staff on all issues relating to technology both in the classroom and the administration
- Be the most senior person in the school as far as technology is concerned and act as an effective bridge between staff and technology experts
- Be a member of the school’s senior management team
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Qualified teaching status
- 7+ or more years of experience in a leadership role
- Leading transformational programs and coaching a team to deliver results
- Capability to represent the IT organization with internal and external entities
- Practical experience in analysis, development, and evaluation of standards, policies, and procedures
- Be fluent in English (knowledge in German and/or Cantonese would be an advantage)
- Be results-driven
