This is a role within the Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) organization, and is based in the Budapest Business Service Centre. The role reports to the Accounting Supervisor. This a centralized role in in the front-end of the AP process, acting primarily as a Single Point of Receipt for vendor (trade) invoices for a number of production sites of Eaton. The holder of this position understands the PTP workflow and can place this role in the process, understands the correlations and as such, are able to correct mistakes should any occur, are able to train the process to others, and ultimately are able to suggest continuous improvement ideas. The output of the role is the input of the Invoice Processing Team(s) and so accuracy is instrumental in supporting the process as a whole. Along those lines, the role may have visibility on the Invoice Processing territory for ones with aspirations. Your main responsibilities: • Manage the team's group e-mail boxes - identify the business units and allocate incoming items to the work queues respecively, archiving old items, respond if and when necessary (mainly to peer teams rather than vendor partners, which is in scope for other teams), • Perform the initial invoice entry activity (data entry on header level) on the incoming trade invoices, or route them on their way in the respective alternative systems, • Perform a Pre-payment Quality Assurrance review on the output of the Invoice Processing Team for the designated regions, • Support the local Invoice Processing Team with processing items on priority for the ledgers they manage (their input is this role's output), • Manage the incoming hard-copy items (post), sort by document type and scan as required, • Continuously complete the required performance tracking, especially on the tasks that may not be reported on with a designated system, • Perform the ad-hoc tasks and/or participate in the projects the operation may require, primarily guided by the line management of the position, • Behave and Deliver in a way that is in line with the team's and the organization's guidelines and goals, • Act as a role model in terms of a team player, be supportive, accountable, organized, accurate on the long run, and take pride in the job you are responsibe for.
