The DOHA Digital Identity Intern will Support the agile Digital Identity Sub Product Owner, Agile Master and Feature Teams for delivery to Product Owner as well as, Organization, Documentation, Testing, Software Development and Lifecycle management of applications. Supports Jira and confluence for Feature Team.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Supporting provider transition from old to new operations provider.
- Support of requirements collection and clarification for new use cases/functionality of the existing password management, strong authentication and PKI tools.
- Software development in JAVA or a similar programming language.
- Reviewing technical documentation and migration of content into Confluence as applicable.
- Creating, maintaining and enhancing existing Power BI Dashboards for the team from an operational/KPI standpoint.
- Automation of operational tasks using scripts or small program modules (e.g. Java, PowerShell).
- Project Team member for internal projects involving tools or processes (Cloud, Confluence/Jira Reporting).
- Operational Reporting for team including understanding of Excel/Finance.
- Provide Transition from existing IT Operations Provider to New IT Operations Provider.
- Create / Establish Product Depot along with continuous improvement process.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science major.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Content Management Systems (Atlassian Tool suite knowledge would be of advantage).
- Basic understanding and experience in SQL (knowledge of DBMS like Oracle, Postgres would be of advantage).
- Basic understanding of modern operating systems web application and client/server architecture.
- Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management would be of advantage.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Tools like Excel.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (January 3rd until May 6th).
