In this role you will be responsible for defining, planning and ensuring implementation of product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy. Oversee all marketing activities, and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services of respective products, in Electrification Business Area in Shanghai, Xiamen, China.
Reporting to the Product Marketing Director, you will develop and implement annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business Area/Product Groups.
Your responsibilities
- Creating, planning and ensuring implementation of the local go-to–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy
- Establishing product marketing targets and budgets. Ensuring their achievement through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
- Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant business units/product groups. Preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market
- Coordinating market analyses with product marketing team and Sales team members and defining appropriate forecasts and plans
- Evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and competitor data
- Overseeing sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials and guidance to Sales team(s)
- Driving sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales) for each Salesperson. Ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
Your background
- 8 years sales working experience in related field; Product management, product engineering, R&D experience or technical sales/support experience are preferred
- Sound knowledge of medium voltage products and related market especially for switchgear and components especially VCB
- Knowledge of market insight, analytical competence, logic in analysis and report preparation
- A bachelor’s degree or above
- Good oral and written English level, presentable and persuasive communication, good computer level and office tools skill
- Must have good teamwork spirit and collaborating mindset
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills expected, and willingness to travel
