Job Overview:
The Daimler Truck Financial (DTF) Small Business Credit Analyst will analyze and deliver sound credit decisions on applications received in Small Business Credit for Owner Operator, Vocational and Sprinter Business. Develop strong working relationships with dealer partners that support the DTF Value Proposition.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, investigate and decision retail and lease applications. Communicate credit decisions to the dealer via phone and eCP. Negotiate conditioned approvals and new structures with the dealers. (50%)
Build positive dealer relations with assigned dealers/region. Provide courteous, consultative and timely customer service to dealers Work with DFM/DRMS on buying strategies for assigned dealerships to ensure proper credit risk and return is achieved. Support and assist District Finance Managers in communicating the DTF value proposition. (30%)
Validate application information, collect additional data and collaborate with the discounting team to resolve funding discrepancies. (10%)
Work 1st payment defaults and follow up on customers coming off extensions. Act as a liaison between collections and the dealers. (5%)
Travel to assigned dealerships to review business performance in conjunction with the DFMs. (5%)
