Position Overview: The individual in the position strives to drive profitable growth and customer retention through the development of pricing, leasing, and financing solutions for the largest IDN accounts and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s). The successful candidate will understand and stay abreast of current market conditions and the competitive landscape. Most contracts/bids require an understanding of the entire Healthcare business including all associated pricing models. Individual IDN deals, which are being negotiated with financial, customer facing support from this position, carry an average of 15M in annual revenue. GPO agreements under this position determine revenues of up to 180M in a single negotiation. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales to assist with development strategic account planning across all Business Areas of Healthineers. Strategic planning and development of proposals and the interplay between GPO, IDN, and IDN subnetworks is a key element in the scope of this role. This is a highest level individual contributor finance position reporting to the Head of Finance for Enterprise Services & Strategic Corporate Accounts with a strong partnership to the leadership teams. The position interacts with many organizational layers and company disciplines including: Senior Management, Strategic Corporate Account Executives, Field Sales, Business Management, Zone Management, Siemens Financial Services, Legal Services, and Accounting. Customer interaction spans from Director to C/VP-Level personnel from national IDNs and GPOs. Responsibilities: Drive profitable growth and transparency as integral part of the proposal team. Develop and present pricing strategies for individual accounts. Develop and present TCO models across equipment, service, and reagents/consumables. Develop sales and financing programs for customer segments including financial analysis/deal modeling and deal strategy/structure. Develop lease packaging and standardization incentive plans based upon the customer demographics and needs while taking into consideration individual deal dynamics. Understand FASB/IASB/IFRS&MEA rules and regulations and their correlation to customers’ needs and Siemens’ requirements Lead project teams both within and outside of areas of expertise; demonstrate ability to synthesize and process data from a variety of sources and develop single strategy/direction for the organization. Act as the strategic financial partner for VP of Strategic Corporate Accounts Coach, mentor, and collaborate with other members of finance and sales to increase the overall effectiveness of the team. Leads the most complex analysis of financial modeling and results to determine accuracy and completeness of information. Designs various financial models; leads discussions with top management for the review of financial proposals. Understands and effectively communicates complex financial concepts including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense performance comparisons. Conforms to accounting guidelines. Leads commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations. Requirements: Leads partnership with management of subject area to drive financial performance against most complex goals. Within subject area, leads protection of company assets, application of control procedures, and financial planning and reporting within stated guidelines and policies. Leads active risk management within subject area. Drives organizational alignment with strategy. Leads building of effective business relationships to achieve goals. Leads invention of creative strategies for dealing with constraints and pursuing opportunities. Applies advanced analytical techniques which are necessary to gain greater insight and perspective for problem-solving. Makes recommendations based on advanced root cause and alternative solution analysis. Education: BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Typically 10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.
