Role Overview:
Driving a best in class digital experience and digital marketing strategy, this is a leadership role within RWS Group that will deliver on three primary deliverables, develop a framework digital strategy, digital experience and driving our group content strategy (taxonomy). Bringing all of this together through partnership with our digital operations and digital experience platform team.
The successful candidate will be strategy focused, have strong problem-solving, interaction and data analytics skills as well as being comfortable in collaborating and partnering with Senior Stakeholders within the RWS Group.
Role Responsibilities:
* In partnership with leadership functions, develop the Content Strategy, Digital Strategy and Digital brand guidelines
* Optimize and improve all parts of the digital marketing ecosystem – creating a digital strategy that aligns with our growth model.
* Communicate the digital vision and strategy to stakeholders and the broader organization, and act as a digital ambassador for the company
* Design and deliver a scalable hybrid digital brand framework controlled by the group but allowing the activation of the sub brands within digital channels
* Lead the continuous design in partnership with the digital experience platform team to develop the company's website to ensure optimal user experience and engagement
* Management of the Content, Digital experience team, interfacing with our Technical development team
* Manage necessary policies, governance, and processes for continual operational success
* Work with and manage if required other teams within the business or third parties on a project-by-project basis
* Specify and explain requirements, to inform and oversee the implementation of projects and proposals
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital innovation and optimize business performance
* Work in partnership with marketing operations to understand and act on insight that drives effective digital customer experience, brand visibility and business growth
* Identify and evaluate emerging digital technologies and trends to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.
* Strategic recommendations and input into end-user experience and content strategy
* Have a good understanding of content delivery platforms
* Be able to provide direction on digital experience and strategy aligned to growth
* Have a good understanding of the content creation and optimization process
* Understand and provide insights from performance data and user research
* Report on performance and areas for improvement within the strategies including digital marketing, SEO and web analytics
* Report upon the impact of the strategy and make recommendations for further improvements, direction and developments
* Evolve content, DX and design process and framework
Experience Requirements:
* Experience in digital leadership roles
* Capable of identifying and evaluating emerging digital technologies and trends to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve
* Strong experience in developing and implementing digital strategies and driving business growth
* Proven track record of improving website user experience and online operations
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools
* Strong understanding of digital technologies and trends
* Strong business acumen and ability to align digital initiatives with overall business goals.
* Marketing / Digital Agency experience (desirable)
