ABOUT THE ROLE
Work with business & IT partners to understand the business and data requirements.
Strong Project management skills to manage Data Analyst team, Assign the tasks and monitor the deliverables/report the weekly status (Including any issues).
Experience in coaching the Junior Data Analyst and guide the team members to improve the skills for future Business(Data) Transformation
Good knowledge in improving operating model, ways of working and build the team to deliver the data analysis & modelling services
Prepare a Data Contract, bus matrix, proof of concepts, source to target mapping , Data Gaps, Data Profiling and Impact Assessment.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Focus on the design and maintenance of conceptual and logical data models (3NF) and their application within IT project and business data governance processes.
Defines data modelling standards and applies within all work products.
Owns and develops artefacts that exploit data models to understand data and data integrations. This may include modelling data flows, developing CRUD matrices to understand master data and the use of process models to illustrate master data flows.
Work with multiple IT roles, including Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Information Architects, to embed the use of data models and within both project and strategic activities.
Work with business data governance teams to embed the use of data models, and associated definitions, within governance processes.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, databases (Redshift, Oracle etc.) and programming languages (Python, R). Ability to write SQL queries to perform data profiling, data analysis and present the insights to the business.
Strong Exposure to Data warehousing and Data Modelling
Good Communication skills.
Project Management experience and team guidance skills
Should be able to communicate effectively with the stakeholders.
Strong Exposure to IT Project Lifecycle.
Vast Exposure to Information Architecture.
Finance/GBS /Legal/HR/Learning/Corporate affairs Domain experience.
Knowledge on BI Tool knowledge is an added advantage.
Experience of developing and applying conceptual and logical data models (3NF).
Experience of using at least one data modelling tool – ideally ER/Studio or Erwin.
Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and data design.
Strong Exposure to IT Project Lifecycle.
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language.
