The Data Analyst, Process Automation will partner with the business on business digital transformation and process automation. He/she will interpret business data residing in IT systems (primarily SAP), set up predictive analysis models, and turn the information into insight to assist the business in making decisions.

Responsibilities include conducting full life cycle analysis from requirements gathering, business analysis, and design to implementation of ideas and processes.

Key aspects of the role:

• Partner with the business on business digital transformation and process automation activities,leveraging IT systems, solutions and data.
• Interpret data and analyze results using data mining and statistical techniques. The analysis will primarily be performed on ERP data residing in the SAP system, though data sets from CRM systems like salesforce.com may also be included.
• Leverage business data in IT systems, primarily SAP, to set up predictive analysis models and reports. Develop and implement data analysis framework and data collection and organization procedures.
• Look for process automation opportunities and partner with various teams to implement business transformation ideas.
• Partner with the business and IT teams to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources or to build data repositories.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex and large data sets.
• Work with management to prioritize information needs.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Present information using data visualization tools and techniques.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of overall IT experience, primarily in the areas of data analysis/data mining or business transformation/process automation.
• Good understanding of ERP processes and entity relationships. Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Functional understanding of common business processes.
• Experience with data analysis tools, reporting platforms (e.g. Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI), database queries (SQL) and programming/scripting (e.g. Python, VBA).
• Understanding of predictive analysis and data mining concepts. Exposure to AI, machine learning or Big Data is a plus.
• Working knowledge of using statistics for analyzing datasets.
• Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mind and business acumen, and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, business users, and management and to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a team. Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.​
• Excellent visualization and presentation skills.
• PPI (Practical Process Improvement) or similar certification is a plus. Certification related to process analysis or data mining is a plus.
