Job Description
Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) is looking to strengthen our team with a forward looking and process driven Data Analyst to join our Opportunity to Cash (O2C) team. This group supports and guides the functions of Credit, Collection, Customer Administration and Cash Application in their daily activities striving for business excellence. If you have excellent analytical and technical skills and want to help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Timely and accurate production of monthly AR metrics and dashboards • Work directly with management & team leaders to gain insights into reporting needs Extract and consolidate data from primary and secondary sources allowing for analysis and interpretation to ensure a high level of accuracy and usefulness for business leaders • Perform data analysis and create clear and insightful reports with a polished and professional style to meet the customers' needs • Analyze data, forecast trends and provide recommendations that will positively impact the organization/project • Work with other team members to improve data collection and quality processes • Coordinate with offshore reporting teams to transition standard reporting packages. Requires data validation and a working knowledge of AWS S3 cloud services and Snowflake. Support O2C organization for adhoc reporting needs Required knowledge/skills, education, and experience: • 0 to 2 plus years of related reporting experience (Internship experience will be considered) • AA degree required in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, BS/BA degree preferred • Proficient knowledge in SQL, R, and Python languages • AWS experience preferred • Knowledge of data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) preferred • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Experience with SAP preferred • Advanced Excel knowledge required • Proficient in MS office suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected • Ability to travel for business meetings, up to 10% Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
