For more information about AbbVie, please visit us The Data Analyst, US Finance is responsible for providing financial support primarily in developing and managing consolidated data models, designing Power BI reports and executive dashboards, and deploying (advanced) analytics for US finance. This role will support the program lead to drive the Power BI implementation along the evolving reporting requirements and will interact with multiple cross functional partners. The Data Analyst, US Finance will partner with key members of the team to implement operational improvements and to develop new tools to manage and assess business performance. Key responsibilities include: Data model design & maintenance to enable synergies across reporting initiatives Database management including development of Python / R pipelines to clean and transform data from primary and secondary sources Preparation of Power BI reports in the areas of Daily Sales, Commercial Model, SG&A, Planning Cycles and Revenue Forecasting (trends & patterns) Align report creation and distribution with governance processes to ensure consistency and quality of data Work with the US finance team to develop and advance Power BI while delivering on responsibilities within current framework Review existing finance templates to find an opportunity to improve the current process Qualifications Bachelor's required, Master’s degree in information science, Information Technology, Data Science preferred Power BI experience required Relevant reporting experience in finance/accounting function Experience in leveraging tech to drive efficiencies and to predict outcomes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines while balancing contending priorities Ability to work well in a team environment and build relationships with cross-functional partners Knowledge of Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib), Java, MySQL, R, ArcGIS, Tableau, SAP, TM1, and HFM a plus Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC About AbbVie AbbVie’s mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
