Major Responsibilities and Objectives

• Learn about the market dynamics using data and research
• Improve existing delivery processes and apply automation where applicable
• Support the team in business development initiatives – expanding solution portfolio and offerings in Analytics domain
• Construct and maintain the business data index and measure system that could fully accurately reflect the whole business model. Monitoring the data index to find and locate business issue in time.
• Provide data support for corporate operation decision, product strategy and though deep data analysis in to business issues.
• Collaboration with relevant team to deliver data modelling with quick iteration, push data driven operation in business units.
• Collaboration with relevant team to deliver training for data technology and product, including theory, skills etc.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• Graduate/ Post-graduate in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Computer Science
• 0-2 years of experience in data analytics
• Experienced with tools like SQL, Excel, SAS/R/Python, ETL/Hive/HQL; Experience in data analysis, data mining, data cleaning and data modelling.
• Coding/development abilities (VBA, SQL etc.) will be an asset
• Knowledge in Business Intelligence platforms, in e.g. Tableau, QlikView
• Good understanding of economic and general business concepts
• Have a passion on retail
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional, cross-border teams and coach/mentor colleagues
• Experienced in writing business data analysis report individually, able to communicate with business and operation team efficiently.
• Fluent English & Mandarin.
