Bentley is seeking candidates for a Data Analytics Developer to create and maintain product telemetry and business intelligence systems within the Data Office. The Developer will design, construct, and maintain multi-platform systems to ingest, warehouse, and analyze data from a wide variety of internal and external data sources. The developer will have the required technical capabilities as well as the “soft” skills needed to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, User Success, and Finance. The developer will apply advanced data modeling, machine learning, and predictive techniques to identify key findings and support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a knack for seeing solutions in massive data. They will apply their knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems and positive impact across multiple projects, teams and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data systems and applications in a cloud environment
- Develop and refine processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Proactively identify, research, and resolve complex technical problems
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes
- Be accountable for on-time delivery of projects and achievement of agreed-upon goals
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Science in a related field such as computer science, data science, or information science
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the field
- Experience with public clouds such Microsoft Azure cloud (preferred) or Amazon Web Services
- Proficiency with relational databases, SQL, and Python
- Capability applied machine learning and statistical techniques to solve real-world problems
- Ability to design compelling and effective user interfaces and reports
- Excellent English communication skills with an ability to concisely present technical information
Desired Skills
- Qlik Sense and/or QlikView experience
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Experience with Qualtrics, user surveys, and user sentiment analysis
- Awareness of business market trends and familiarity with financial concepts
