This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Dashboard Design & Creation for various areas of the EWS business to include: Revenue, Margin, ROIs, Productivity, etc.
  • Data collection, measurement and organization.
  • Developing Predictive Analytic tools for several areas within Siemens Healthineers Education and Workforce Solutions- Virtual, Biomed etc.
  • Partnering with the business process team to realize business improvements through data and process optimization.

  • You are detail-oriented, self-motivated and have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are an analytical thinker and have related tooling skills (SAP, PowerBI, Python, SAS)
  • You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
  • Since you are interacting with international customers, excellent English skills (ideally as native language, spoken and written) are necessary; German language skills and knowledge of other languages is of advantage.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You thrive in a team environment and understand the importance of understanding, relating to and meeting the needs of customers.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Must be a rising junior/senior or master’s student in Data Science or similar major and have a strong passion for process improvement and Data analytics.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Must have the availability to work part-time during the academic year (up to 20 hours/week) and full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week).

Start date: January 2021 or May 2021; 6-12 month duration.
