Intel is looking for a highly motivated and talented student to join our Managed Analytics team as a data developer, playing a key role in the design, and development of our data collection, processing and modelling.

We are developing a state-of-the-art high-scale cloud-based solution. A modern SaaS data-lakehouse, with self service capabilities, ingestion\consumption services, and other features that help data engineers and data scientists across Intel's design teams make better data-driven decisions.

To succeed in this position, you will:

• Work in a dynamic environment, with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Understand customer’s business pains and needs, engineering process, and relevant data.
• Be the owner of the integration with the client’s data sources and ingest the data, assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Develop ETLs and data models, running both on-prem and in the cloud, using technologies such as SQL, Python, C#, SSAS, Spark, Databricks, Synapse, etc.
• Continuously engage with diverse stakeholders, keep frequent meetings, and drive the ongoing communication (e.g. Release announcements, wiki, etc.).
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support our data infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Pursuing a BA/BSc in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or other exact sciences from a leading university, with at least 2 semesters remaining.
• Experience with Python programming, preference for data manipulation & analysis.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Extra qualifications:

• Familiarity with ETL development.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc…).
• Familiarity with open source Big-data products (Kafka, Spark, flink, storm).

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
