• Deep and rich experience in working with data and data management technologies (IA,TOGAF,machine learning, cloud architectures...) within complex organizations
• Experience in data leadership role, driving business change through proactive engagement and process management
• Experience working in a multi-business unit or multi-client environment that emphasizes collaboration, efficiency and teamwork
• Deep and varied experience in consumer data projects with a focus on cross-company data partnerships or acquisitions
• Proven ability to engage both leaders and professionals in data, technology and integration on the data journey
• Experience with a focus on working with multi-brand organizations, consumer analytics and personal and/or sensitive data
• Proven ability to influence C-level leadership, able to persuade leaders to change behaviors and invest behind new approaches and strategies
• Great at developing new relationships, driving positive change, and matching analytics opportunities to data acquisition strategy
• Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and simple way
• Excellent planning, project management, organizational orchestration and peer relationships skills

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

Data Engineering
•    Strategy, evolution, and ownership of our Data Assets, Platforms, Infrastructure and Technology with the constant mission to accelerate, to scale and to sustain value creation through these, including improving operational targets
•    Accountability for Data subject area expertise, including working with the Data & Analytics Director to ensure the Royal Canin Data Strategy best supports the ambitions of stakeholders at all levels of Royal Canin, and the Ecosystem.
•    Change management of data assets, models, architecture, infrastructure, and technology
•    Further develop synergies with the Segment Data team and Ecosystem 
Data Stewardship and Quality
•    Segment and/or Division Data Standards Ownership
•    Division Data Ownership
•    Ensure and improve quality and consistency of data (across the whole lifecycle)
Data Acquisition and Governance
•    Ownership model over consumer interaction points and adherence to compliance practices (e.g. consents, asset owners)
•    Partner with functions and divisions to connect and execute the division data strategy, including new data acquisition roadmap
•    Knowledge over specific data management practices (e.g. medical)
