We are looking for an experienced data pipeline developer/engineer to help us with current technology challenges. The operation of the current SQL Server based infrastructure must be ensured, in parallel the migration to a new Azure Cloud based platform is being driven forward. There, a modern data platform will be built with a focus on long-term/future-proof operation. There is the opportunity to shape the future new platform together with the existing team, based on modern Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Synapse). Skills: • Good experience with MS-SQL Server and related services, development, including advanced topics e.g. Partitioning, Column Store, Performance Optimizing • Several years of experience in DB and DWH modelling • Experience with Cloud platform development • Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts • Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts • Modelling and development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes • Ability to work in a complex domain with large amounts of data • Good team player • Optional: Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Databricks • Experience with Cloud platform migrations (optional) Tools/Languages: • MS SQL Server • SQL • T-SQL • SSIS • MS Visual Studio • Azure Cloud • Optional: Spark (Scala) • Optional: Databricks Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited Experience Level: Experienced Professional Full / Part time: Full-time
