Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Data Management Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Irvine, CA facility. Position Overview: Data Management Clerk is responsible for maintaining controlled documentation and data for US fuel products including airframe, aerial refueling, and engine products. This role has responsibility for the data management activities across the Irvine, CA and Euclid, OH manufacturing sites. In this function you will: Supports data item reviews and deliver data in electronic and/or hardcopy format per Customer Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) and Eaton internal requirements. Provide subject matter expertise on all areas of Data Management. Assure CDRLs/SDRLs are accurately generated, tracked and delivered in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and/or other customer contractual requirements. Assure accuracy and completeness of data submittal forms and paperwork. Coordinate and communicate data transmittals with customer data management counterparts. Maintain database records, prepares forms, verifies information, identify trends and isolate and resolve problems. Implements, maintains and improves program Data Management systems, policies and procedures. Inputs, revises, and updates engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials) for new releases in the MRP system as necessary to support COs and new product releases. Maintains strict configuration control of engineering documents within document control. Scans engineering documents for upload into Eaton’s PLM system. Enters data for all new component data, including documentation and drawings Maintains First Article Inspection reports and database Coordinates Change Control Board (CCB) activites for Change Requests (CRs). Reviews Change Orders (COs) prior to implementation in Enovia Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Distributes Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) tasks after release of COs. Updates engineering related fields within Eaton’s PLM system. Assists in the printing of large production prints as requested Maintains inventory of supplies necessary for producing engineering documents including paper and ink. Schedules maintenance activities as necessary to keep printers/plotters in good working order. Oversees the installation of any new printers/plotters used in Engineering Records. Interfaces with Eaton Engineering, Program Management, Contracts and other personnel to acquire and status data submittals. Supports projects related to the Eaton MRP and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems Trains individuals on various Engineering Records activities/responsibilities. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
