Job Description

The Data Management Process Owner is a part of Development Operations, Processes and Enabling Solutions.

The Data Management Process Owner is responsible for the lifecycle management of clinical data management processes and procedures. 

Specific duties include driving the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of business critical processes according to the needs of end-users and key stakeholders in compliance with business and regulatory requirements. 

The Process Owner will require :

  • Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills to work with senior leaders from across multiple business functions, ensuring that cross-functional agreement is achieved and enterprise needs are met. 
  • Strong critical thinking skills will be required in order to build and implement best practice solutions. 
  • Self-starting leadership, project management and change management skills are required to drive multi-disciplinary improvement projects. 
  • Excellent organizational skills are needed to develop, maintain and publish clear procedural documents and training materials.   
  • Clinical Research and Clinical Data Management experience is essential, while more knowledge of specific clinical trial processes and/or process improvement methodologies would be beneficial.
