We are looking for an intern to support our projects INSITE and Customer 360 which are collecting business data (inclusive of operational and engineering data on our installed base of products and solutions) to then provide contextual analysis and presentation for support of business decision making and our growing services business. The projects have already started and we have amassed a large amount of data, but we wish to grow the team to support development of interfaces to the tool for input/ output of information, for the various key stakeholders. The challenge Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic intern development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in data science. Here is a taste of what you can expect from this internship: Participation/ Lead with User requirement workshops Translating User stories into requirements Prioritisation of feature development into Minimal Viable Product sprints Implement and test new features Present new features and dashboards to senior stakeholders Support users with training of how to use developed tools The candidate We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following: Working towards a 2:2 or above in a data science related degree. Coding skills (preferably with experience of SQL Server) Ability to distil, articulate and prioritise user requirements Brings new thinking and takes the initiative A teammate who is open and collaborative What else do I need to know?
