The role

Purpose

As a member of our Innovation and Business Excellence team, the Data Science Expert  will work across the organization to build analytical models to assess commercial performance and make recommendations to improve outcomes. You will partner extensively with the Digital, Operational Excellence and commercial teams across the organization to unfold insights and inform decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute promotional and channel response modelling processes
• Develop methodology and process to build channel affinity profiles for customer
• Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to assess Brand tactic impact and inform decision making
• Partner with business unit analytics managers on segmentation & targeting processes
• Data exploration, discovery & rapid visualization for new data sets
• Lead engagements with AI/ML partners
• Support health partnerships and data sharing for Innovative Value Solutions
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources for use in models
• Ensure AI and machine learning products are scalable and repeatable
• Communicate and explain recommendations from AI/ML models and translate into actionable steps

The profile

• University degree, ideally in data science or related
• Relevant experience in similar area; experience with pharmaceutical data is preferred
• Solid analytical and conceptual thinking skills; manipulate and derive meaningful interpretations from data
• Strong understanding of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Experience developing AI/ML modeling techniques and processes
• Experience selecting and implementing causal analysis frameworks
• Experience implementing time series analysis and prediction
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Advanced English
