TITLE: Data Scientist 4 COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. DUTIES: Development of most complex re-usable analytic models for trending, prediction, risk management and configuration as well as deployment and maintenance of such models in a complex data analytics environment. Conduct exploratory data analysis in high dimensions with different kinds of data, e. g. medical device data, financial data, ERP data, machine data, process related data, or textual data. Development and test execution of prototypes in an industrial environment, validation and communication of results to answer targeted business questions. Conduct data exploration; identification of relevant data sets and new relations in data. Selection of optimal tools and definitions for visualization method/tool to display results. Maintenance a network of business experts, subject matter experts and key experts to understand business data analytics requirements and identify data analytics driven opportunities. Determination and provision of data management, quality, and IT infrastructure requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with the following skills: experience in the domain of statistics, data discovery and data science tasks utilizing multiple data sources and characteristics; experience in usage and extension of analytical tools and systems, e. g. SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics, R, Python, Hadoop, Spark, or similar data mining Workbenches; experience in SAS transformations available like SQL, access, data and high-performance analytics transformations; expertise in technologies, algorithms and methodologies in the areas of Data Analytics, Data Mining, Machine Learning; experience in the field of analysis, evaluation and handling of structured and unstructured / multi-structured data; expertise in the area of big data analytics and analytics with structured and unstructured data.
