Our client is one of the leading property developers with several luxury commercial portfolios – residential & commercial buildings, and shopping malls in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a passionate Data Scientist to plan and implement the new database and data analytics road-map as well as the application of AI for the group.

Job Description

You will be reporting to head of strategy and responsible for the data development pipeline from data extraction, blending, cleansing and processing to model creation and result visualization. You will act as project lead and key person to manage the implementation and formation of integrated data warehouse and generate excellent data analytics road-map. You will need to develop predictive and prescriptive models through programming in R and Python. You will need to lead researches in the application of AI for stakeholders. You will also need to provide an internal training and education on the usage and benefits of implementing this new data solution.

Successful applicant

-       Bachelor’s degree in quantitative science/Data Management/Business Analysis or related disciplines

-       8-10 years relevant experience in sizable companies. Experience in leading roles as database architect and data analytics specialist

-       Hands on experience with machine learning models using Python or R

-       Strong commercial sense, quantitative and analytics skills

-       Data visualization skills, preferred experience in Power BI, Quik or Tableau

-       Excellent communication in both written and spoken in English and Chinese

-       Self-motivated, initiative, detail-minded and good team player
