In your new role you combine technological excellence in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with deep understanding and interaction with customers to drive innovation with real-world business impact. You are responsible to collect, analyze and condense relevant information to support investments decisions, e.g. by conducting customer interviews and permanent exchange with internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, portfolio management). You validate technical feasibility of innovation ideas in hands-on development, e.g., in our research plant; our Siemens factories or customer co-creation projects. You focus on the utilization of AI methods and other cutting edge technologies in factory automation. Furthermore, you support in the transfer of innovation project results towards our product development departments. What you need to make real what matters. You aspire to combine both - technical excellence and deep customer understanding - to drive impactful innovation. You hold a university degree in computer science, business informatics, business engineering or similar, ideally with a focus mainly on Artificial Intelligence. You are open to challenge yourself and your assumptions constantly and proactively to learn every day and adapt ideas naturally. You are willing to dive deep to understand every facet of a customer problem and to push innovations that address the relevant facets. You speak English fluently. German language skills are a plus.
