Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Scientist/Engineer to join our team. You will be involved in developing prototypes and to help in developing a platform to handle IoT and Big Data Analytics for a major institutional bodies. In this position you will have the opportunity to work on a system that is used by a wide range of users varying from operational users to upper management. What's it like:

• Join stakeholder meetings to design and shape the direction 
• Work in an Agile development team
• Touch and explore innovative IoT devices 
• Help to visualize REAL big data, we typically deal with over 10GB of data per day 
• Explore how big data analytics can be visually and simply presented to users

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with system architect, explore available options to visualize complex data to users
• Design Big Data storage infrastructure
• Data preperation and analysis
• Build and test AI/ML models

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science/Statistics or related disciplines
• Experience in analytics software packages such as R and SAS
• Experience in Python and Tensorflow is preferred
• Statistical background is a plus
• Real-time application experience preferred
• Motivated attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
