This position requires you to work on challenging projects from various corporate areas, combining business insights with the latest data science techniques. You will help deliver value to the customer by solving their problems also using the latest technology available. A successful candidate is experienced in preparing data, building, and deploying models with cloud- technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure. Is also proficient with at least one programming language. You work with an agile mindset and are skilled at producing meaningful results and present them to stakeholders with professionalism and ease. Your problem-solving mindset creates real business value. This is your role. As a data scientist on an international team at Siemens, you will use advanced data analytics methods to support the company's digitalization efforts. You are part of an international data analytics team with diverse backgrounds, utilizing state-of-art data analytics methods to accelerate Siemens internal digitalization. You build data models by extracting, transforming, and processing unstructured or structured data from large, disconnected datasets. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, complex datasets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions Build and implement data models to support decision making and drive business growth Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner Work on an agile mindset participating in code reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of best practices in data science. Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, cleaning, and analysis processes Understand and apply ethical considerations when working with sensitive data Contribute to building a data-driven culture within the organization and identifying new opportunities and areas to apply data science.
