Job Description

Eaton’s VGNA division is currently seeking a Data Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.

The Data Technician is responsible for coordinates performance databases such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in support of production of the plant, ensuring that bottlenecks & flow stoppers are captured, shared and used for decision making. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to efficiency and eliminating waste. Supports CI Engineer & Industrial engineer in time studies, and cycle time management.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Works with the operations team to implement some of the ELSS tools. Awareness training and can lead Kaizen Blitz events.
  • Participates with CIF deployment, and owns specific CI metrics.
  • Participates in Eaton Lean System (ELSS) assessments and identify performance gaps and supports with improvement actions.
  • Provides data reports & tools across the organization to drive short-term and long-term business improvements.
  • Manages Manual OEE system, Real Time OEE system (superuser)
  • Assure environmental, health and safety requirements are satisfied when the projects are implemented.
  • Supports financial policy thru Industrial Engineer as well as Real Time OEE deployment with CI Engineer

Calificaciones

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
  • Drive for results and willing to learn continuously
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Power Point, Excel
  • Ability to execute multiple activities
  • Experience in SW, OEE Systems

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ERP/MRP knowledge (ORACLE)
  • Automotive industry experience minimum 6 months
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment capability.
