Data Visualisation – We provide centralised, customer oriented, right time clinical data visualisations across functions.

Data Visualisation Team Leader ensuring continuous team portfolio delivery.​ Defining team vision, goals and strategy. Contributing to the development of SASP roadmap.

• Leading the development, maintenance, and delivery of business processes and associated training.
• Maintaining and defining business metrics along with resource assessments and forecasting.
• Working closely with various internal and external stakeholders (Biometrics, Data Management, Medics and Safety Experts, IT).
• Proactively identifying opportunities, provides expert advice and influence, and/or leads AstraZeneca’s response to complex challenges within AZ drug development related to data and information infrastructure.
• Ensures business continuity and recovery mechanism is in place in case of disaster.
• Leads and contributes to improvement and organizational initiatives at the SASP and BDO level.
• Networks with colleagues and experts, providing consultancy in own area of expertise and serving as a resource for others within and beyond the SASP function.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• BSc in mathematical, computer science or life sciences, with experience in Pharmaceuticals/ Healthcare and Clinical Drug/Medical Device Development.
• Relevant knowledge of databases and repositories, relevant programming & scripting languages, hardware & software architecture, and enterprise system implementation.
• Relevant knowledge and experience for statistical programming (e.g., SAS, R) and data visualization tools and methods to an advanced level.
• Proficient knowledge of clinical data standards (e.g., CDASH, SDTM, ADaM).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Current knowledge of other technical and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
• Able to motivate and empower a diverse team in a matrix organisation.
