Job Description

The Data and Analytics Program Manager is responsible to ensure construction and facilities data is treated as an organizational asset, is of high quality, and readily available to support business intelligence for improved decision making and informed action.

Scope:

The CFSC Data and Analytics program manager will lead a team managing integrated data infrastructure, online dashboards, visualizations and analytics uniquely tailored and tuned to provide fast, data driven analysis and business context for improved decision making and informed actions.

Responsibilities include

Manage, develop and grow a team of senior level data professionals who are also experts in the business domains they support. This teams unique value contribution comes from the combination of business domain knowledge with technical data and analytics competencies. The team works closely with FCE and CS business representatives and subject matter experts from various departments as well as IT and Supply Chain Enabling Solutions to develop a strong understanding of business processes, upstream and downstream data dependencies and interrelationships to provide data and business solutions enabling a multi-billion dollar business. As a leader of this team your challenge will be to manage the rapidly increasing workload in support of current FCE and Supply Chain business needs plus the increased workload resulting from capacity expansion.

Strategic planning and visioning:

Drive and own the development and upkeep of a cross department data and analytics strategic roadmap, including creation, implementation and oversight of the cross department data asset management goals, standards, practices and processes aligned with the business goals and key imperatives of CFSC. Ensure consistent and disciplined use of data assets, propose specific recommendations on how to improve data quality, raise the level of data literacy, and oversee the people and processes required to create consistent and proper handling of data and understanding of information across the departments.

  • Ensure data is treated as an organizational asset for all
  • Ensure data is of high quality and cleansed
  • Ensure data is readily available to support business intelligence for improved decision making and informed action across constrained Construction supply chain commodities
  • Increase effectiveness through coordinated efforts and driving adoption of common approaches to data issues
  • Foster a data culture across departments by championing data and analytics literacy and providing training
  • Empower cross value stream decision making
  • Reduce operational friction and cost by driving a cross department joint data strategy
  • Build and influence standard, repeatable, and transparent processes
  • Explore and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Manage data tools and infrastructure for optimal performance and risk management
  • Present ongoing reports, findings and insights to executive team and business partners
  • Partner with IT on enterprise level data needs and roadmap, helping IT support CFSC needs


Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. MS or advanced technical degree is a plus.
  • 10 or more years of relevant combined experience in managing business data and analytics, supply chain management, business operations, engineering, strategic planning, or other related field
  • Construction Supply Chain experience is a plus
  • 8 or more years of progressive leadership experience with a strong record of driving technical and data related business programs and teams and delivering strong results including in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Experience managing a team of analytic, technical, data roles is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of experience managing Intel data and analytics programs

  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration experience, including with business stakeholders, data scientists, data engineers, and IT. One Intel role model
  • Experience developing and driving a holistic vision, strategy, and roadmap supporting multiple stakeholder groups and priorities
  • Experience leading effective large scale cross organizational data and analytics programs
  • Experience driving effective data governance and data quality programs
  • Experience working with Tableau and other data visualization dashboards and tools
