Our Customer Engagement Team, part of Global Commercial and Operation IS, is critical in supporting Customer Engagement Excellence at Amgen. Amgen is using a fully integrated and best in class technologies, having Salesforce.com as core architecture & relying on business capabilities enablers such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. We are functioning as a product team, delivering product features in an agile manner, focusing on most business added values. Our operating activities are organized via a DevOps model in a global environment.

As Senior Data Engineer you will support our Customer Engagement team by managing the full E2E cycle for data integration into their platforms and contribute to our digital transformation to advances analytics. Amgen is using fully integrated and best in class technologies, having Salesforce.com as core architecture & relying on business capabilities enablers such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. In this vital role you will:

  • Develop & maintain data load strategy and monitor daily data load;

  • Configure and deploy integration components;

  • Coordinate with downstream team data process flow, data validation, interface run schedule;

  • Work with project team on user story development, data modeling, UAT & releases;

  • Maintain data quality with regard to Integrity, completeness, consistency, uniqueness and validity of the data;

  • Support data integration of  MDM components - Product, Customers, Territory integration, Business Rules, Consents data;

  • Analyzing large data sets from MDM, Veeva and/or SFDC Marketing cloud and/or IQVIA;

  • Perform Data Requirement Analysis and Data integration development;

  • Support downstream/upstream functional team with integration components development & testing activities;

  • Work in cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions based on business requirements;

  • Collaborates with business partners to collect and analyze changes required to Amgen business applications & impact on integration;

  • Create and maintain system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications.

What we expect of you

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Similar

  • Total of 6+ years of relevant development, testing and integration experience;

  • Experience in data integration in similar Customer Engagement Platforms and CRM systems;

  • Strong skills in Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes;

  • Strong experiences in using ETL tools, such as: Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud, Snaplogic, Databricks and/or MuleSoft, SQL;

  • Strong interest in advanced analytics and able to identify improvement opportunities;

  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment;

  • Must be a good communicator and have analytical skills;

  • An energetic and self-motivated approach to solving problems and driving solutions;

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
