The shortlisted candidate will be assigned to Government Department to revamp and re-development of IT applications projects

Job Duties:

• Participate in the system setup core software (i.e. Oracle, Microsoft DBs and Application server products) during revamp and redevelopment project of IT applications, including, backup and restore database, deployment, perform load test, conduct DR drill, trouble-shooting, performance monitoring and etc
• Manage outsourced contractor to upgrade software packages
• Coordinate with all related working parties including the internal users and outsourced contractor to ensure a smooth implementation
• Assist related working parties to implement new business requirements in compliance with Department’s standards, and security requirements
• Conduct quality check and assurance on the deliverables
• Handle system change request from the outsourced contactor
• Assist in handover the final solution /product to supporting contractor to continue their operation
• Perform administration tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirement Details:

• Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years relevant working experience
• Excellent skill set of Oracle Installation, configuration, patching, Tuning of Oracle database with RAC setup, Data guard, Golden Gate & Microsoft SQL servers
• Excellent skill set of Installation, configuration, patching, Tuning of Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Internet Directory (OID)
• 24x7 production support of administration of Oracle database/Sql Server, Weblogic/JOBSS/TOMCAT application services
• Working experience in setting up large scale infrastructure and complex IT systems for government will be an advantage
• Shell scripting under Unix and Windows env. will be an advantage
• Good command with OS operating systems such as Windows, AIX, Linux
• Permanent HK resident is required
