The everyday contributions of the Intel Validation Engineering (iVE) team are essential to Intel's product leadership. We validate, debug, and tune the newest designs and world-changing technologies that enrich the lives of every person on earth. In this role you will define debug strategies that enhance team capabilities, and debug challenging SoC silicon/fw related failures reported during the Post-Si validation phase. Customer and internal validation activities of Data Center Products are the source of these reports. Debug must be carried on with a high degree of effectiveness and discipline that result in the timely declaration of a high quality PRQ (release to Manufacturing). This position requires interaction with a large and diverse set of teams.

Qualifications
Education:
BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or similar engineering degree with at least 8 years of experience in product development or validation
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in debugging.
- 3+ years of experience in SOC design, verification, or validation disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience with system/platform-level validation and debug, methodologies and tools (Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Multimeters, Probes and Python scripting).
- 2+ years of experience with Python or C language programming.
- Advanced English Level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A developed understanding of x86 Computer Architecture and CPU micro-architecture.
- Experience in one or more technical domains such as Networking, RAS, Virtualization, Power Management, Memory System, Security.
