The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To take advantage of the many opportunities in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for an outstanding Deep Learning AI Applications Engineer to join our Customer Experience Group (CEG) team specializing in ML/AI to expand our FPGA AI Portfolio.
As a Deep Learning AI Applications Engineer you will be responsible to support Intel FPGA solutions proactively to enable customers to quickly get their solutions to market. Additionally, you will interface directly with cross functional teams to contribute to the next generation product definition, identify market trends and direction, and quickly resolve complex technical issues to allow customers to meet the market demands.
Your specific role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Providing guidance from a customer and systems perspective to cross functional teams to create optimal solutions.
Creating demos to showcasing the capabilities of Intel PSG solutions.
Handling customer escalations to provide solutions to meet customer requirements and working directly with development teams to build improved solutions in the future.
Providing product readiness feedback as an early user to cross functional teams and managing efforts to improve the product.
Developing reference designs or subcomponents to align with key market strategies which provides the ability for customers to evaluate the technology while offering a starting point for their project.
Driving the strategy of new technology training for both internal and external audiences.
Authoring documentation and other applicable materials to explain products and solutions.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (must already have or expect the required degree within 2022)
Minimum Qualifications
3+ months of total experience (academic is acceptable) inclusive of:
Experience in an area related to Software, Data Scientist, and/or tools surrounding Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus
2+ years of experience in a role related to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence.
Experience working on customer engagements, applications development.
Experience with ML algorithms and top practices for working with deep learning systems.
Experience with ML modeling frameworks (OpenVINO, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.)
Experience in software engineering with complex, multi-language systems.
Experience with Embedded Systems.
Experience with oneAPI, OpenCL, HLS, Quartus, and other FPGA centric design flows and tools.
Experience with Git and development tools.
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$100,860.00-$151,260.00
