IOTG OpenVINO Developer Tools group is looking for a Deep Learning software engineer to join the team.
We're a group of engineers focused on the development of many components in the OpenVINO stack.

Our primary areas are:

• Efficient importing and transforming Deep Learning models - like TF, pyTorch, ONNX
• ONNX standard support in OpenVINO
• Reference implementations of deep learning operators
• CPP and Python API of OpenVINO
• Models enablement and performance optimizations for CPU

We are looking for a highly-motivated software engineer with interest or even practical knowledge about Deep Learning.
We are a team who is working with many other teams to achieve same goal - deliver a best software DL accelerator to the market.
There is only we, not they in our mindset.

Qualifications

We have a pretty good process of ramping up new team members but we also have some expectations for the candidates.

We'd like you to have:

• proven experience on Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
• 5 or more years of experience in software development (or good practical knowledge about good practices, software development theory, code quality principles)
• solid knowledge of C++11 and experience in writing modern (and efficient) C++ code or  solid knowledge of Python and experience in writing modern (and efficient) Python code
• good communication skills (you have to be able to communicate in English on daily basis)
• ability and will to learn a lot in short term of time

Skills described below are not obligatory, but will help you to start work with us:

• at least basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• background/experience in computer vision
• previous experience with ML frameworks (usage and/or implementation)
• experience with: CMake, git, GitHub, gtest or pytest
• at least basic knowledge of Python 3 or CPP or C
• experience with code optimization techniques
• experience with profilers (for example Valgrind or VTune)
• experience with DL models (inference, analysis)
• experience with ONNX and/or protobuf

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
