Job Title: Delivery Service Officer

Report to: Delivery Service Supervisor

Business Unit: DNP China

Location: China

The Challenge:

  • Close contact with the LSP, Customer service, and Inventory planning to coordinate the information and tasks necessary to meet the customer’s shipping requirements.
  • Meet customers’ and regional DCs’ on-time and in full needs, provide order to cash supports, to ensure transparent and efficient communication and successful and cost effective order fulfilment process.

The Position:

  • Perform distribution processing and fulfilment in close collaboration with related counterparts through efficient distribution network.
  • Track and trace export shipments and update status in a timely manner, incl. follow up vessel/flight details, ATD/ATA confirmation & provide documents to customers.
  • Coordinate and monitor the service providers for physical distributions to customers/DCs to ensure accurate and timely arrangements.
  • Maintain surveillance of call-offs against contracts, delivery lead-times, MOV, item proposals and informs relative counterparts locally or globally.
  • Manage customer complaints on supply chain/ logistics matters & work with Front Office Customer Service Specialist/Sales people to solve customer’s complaint such as damage, delay.
  • Perform quality control and SHE requirements in chain of demand supply to satisfy corporate environment of DSM.
  • Work with internal customers and cross functions to smooth the whole supply chain operations.
  • Other on-job tasks assigned.

The Ideal:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relative area, or equivalent experience in DSCM/logistics related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in areas such as Transportation, Logistics & Distribution.
  • Strong knowledge on Import/Export Customs documentations and flows management, including Bonded flows and major trade modes.
  • Effective communication skills with logic and systematic thinking.
  • Good English communication capability and Office (Excel and PowerPoint) fluent user.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical/nutritional products industry and operations process, air or ocean logistics is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP Logistics Execution is preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English & good interpersonal skills
  • Good ERP & MS Office skill
