KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


1.Ensure full compliance with Huntsman Corporate EHS standard, business ethics and international trade compliance
2. Orchestrates the overall Demand Review process
3. Proactively coaches the Demand team in the Demand process
4. Schedules the Demand Review per the IBP calendar
5. Coordinates monthly Demand Planning process through gathering, organizing, and analyzing the demand data. Key inputs include:
> New product plans
> Marketing, brand/product strategy, pricing, and promotional activities
> Near-to-mid-term sales plans
> Competitive situations
> Statistical forecast corrected for abnormal demand signals
> Business plan
> Product pricing plans

6. Maintain a log of key demand plan assumptions
7. Compile a Family based aggregate, unconstrained demand plan represented in volume units and dollars
8. Facilitates the Demand Review (DR) consensus meeting including: agenda preparation, consolidation and distribution of Demand Review deck, and the issuing of meeting minutes and action items
9. Leads the Development of “what if” scenarios that test the Demand Plan sensitivity and identify potential gap closing solutions
10. Ensures that issues and imbalances which occur during the monthly Demand cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved or escalated with recommendations and alternatives for closure
11. Identifies, develops and implements process improvement plans to optimize the Demand 12. Management process to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth
13. Ensures Valid Achievable Product Demand Plans
14. Liaise with Product Management, Finance, and Supply to maintain continuous integrated resolution of issues as they arise, as well as day to day threats and opportunities to the plan
15. Monitors actual performance to plan and communicates or intervenes as appropriate
16. Manages abnormal demands as they arise
17. Daily liaison with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Planning to keep the plans ‘current’
18. Custodian of Valid Demand Plan
19. Maintains functional process step performance measures

20. Represents Demand in the IR review as required.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:


Skills/Qualifications:
> Strong background based in sales and marketing
> Commercial organizational experience desired
> Proficient in data analysis tools, systems, and data base repositories of sales information systems
> Demonstrated influence management skills and organizational know how
> Well versed in Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, and collaborative forecasting techniques"
