Where everyone matters, and everyone belongs. Job Summary We are currently searching for a fixed-term Demand Planner ( approx. for one year) in SCM team. Employment will start based on agreement in January 2023 and lasts until end of January 2024 (substitute for a parental leave). Primary function is to develop and maintain production schedule, considering various inputs like line capacity, material availability, inventory, customer requirements. This role is responsible for accurate scheduling of customer orders to production and resolving scheduling conflicts caused by different disruption types. Job Responsibilities Support developing master production schedule, taking into account customer requirements, production capacity, inventory and material constrains Turn customer orders into production orders, and verify orders are accurately scheduled to production in MRP Monitor possible scheduling conflicts caused by line capacity, materials shortages, late engineering inputs etc, and create mitigation actions Make recommendations to production lines regarding staffing, and maintain visibility of daily/weekly capacity need Communicate to customer service and project teams expected shipping dates, and align different re-scheduling requests to production schedule Anticipate phasing out of discontinued products to minimize E&O inventory, and phasing in new products to secure successful new product ramp-ups Systematically maintain MRP parameters according to production strategies Take visible role in plant daily accountability system, and drive continuous improvement efforts in function Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor of Science/Logistics/SCM/Business Administration. Years and area of experience required: Minimum a couple of years’ experience in supply chain, sales & operations planning, material management, demand and supply management.
