Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Demand Planning Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility. Position Overview: The Demand Planning Supervisor will development and execute the strategy, processes, and tools for the facility’s key SIOP forecasting activities. This position will represent the plant SIOP and demand management department in key cross-functional decisions, including short- and long-term strategy discussions, product initiatives, strategic business planning, and systems integration. Leads the aggregation and analysis of topline demand forecasts and highlights the risks and opportunities pertaining to market and economic factors, enabling senior leadership the support analysis needed to drive improved profitability, volume growth, and achieve channel objectives. In this role, you will: Drive the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process supported by a cross functional team. Collaborates with other Demand Managers on best practices and aligned processes. Develop a yearly profit plan forecast and drive achievement during current year - 24 month rolling, including a 5-year Strategic Plan. Incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, customer service, program management, etc. to determine demand drivers and to confirm any sales spikes and trends as they arise. Lead the monthly consensus demand process, including reporting to senior management on forecasts, assumptions, risks and opportunities. Document and challenge forecast assumptions based on the analysis of market data, industry dynamics, statistics, business trends, and demand patterns. Support the development of a robust demand forecast that is agreed to by sales and marketing, including an analytical driven demand planning monthly process. Balance current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements. Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution. Analyze and manage inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals. Coordinate with multiple materials planning analysts to prepare consolidated plant, customer, and product status information and action plans. Support, and when required, lead cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives. Analyze demand information and coordinates with customer service to resolve any current and potential issues concerning portal orders. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum three (3) years of experience with SIOP demand planning. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning and ERP systems/MFGPro. CPIM certification Experience forecasting high-mix, low volume parts Strong computer and data analysis skills (i.e. Excel, Access, Power BI, and database management). Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
