Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to teaching, research and all departmental activities with the proper use of equipment, materials and facilities (e.g. equipment in civil engineering laboratory);
• Oversee the operation, repair and maintenance of all facilities in the laboratories;
• Handle purchasing, sourcing and tendering of supplies, materials, equipment and tools required for the laboratories; and
• Assist in ad hoc projects and perform any other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• A higher diploma or above in Engineering or related disciplines; 
• Practical/relevant experience in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment;
• College or University working experience is preferred;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Putonghua is preferred); and
• Be highly-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and able to work independently as well as working in a diverse team environment.
