Our client is a top-tier industrial manufacturing organisation with close to 20,000 employees globally. They have several successful product lines in China, and Shanghai is the central hub for their operation.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a 3 to 6 months interim project position that could be turned permanent with exceptional performance. Your key list projects will include:

• Day to day HR operations & processing
• Leading a team of HRBPs, providing feedback and reporting upwards
• Change management: provide value-add advisory on redesigning organisational structure, managing changes to headcount, supporting operations team on movements/promotions/redundancies

It is important this person brings a fresh perspective to the company and is able to provide consultative evaluations on the company's current processes.

A candidate at Senior HRBP / HRM or HRD level with experience leading a team, in a multinational firm would be well positioned for this role. Ideally you will have a background in heavy industrial manufacturing though star candidates from other manufacturing industries would also be considered. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience dealing with organisational structuring and change management would be highly beneficial.
