Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be a member of the senior management team, reporting to the Head of Communications & Resource Development (HCRD). Supporting the HCRD, he/she will be responsible for devising resources mobilization strategy for individual one-off giving including marketing campaigns and corporate partnership development. He/she will also take lead on the Signature Event and solicit resources in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop resource mobilization strategy to support and maintain financial sustainability for operations and service development
• Lead and steer on one-off individual giving as well as pledges to uphold donor accountability
• Devise acquisition and conversion plans for individual giving
• Lead the development and implementation of a Signature Event and liaise corporate partners for the HKRC’s 70th Anniversary
• Develop corporate partnership as a strategical tool for resources sustainability
• Steer departmental teams to review, enhance and streamline of business functionalities to bring forward strategical effectiveness

Requirements:

• University Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification and related work experience in Fundraising, Marketing, Business Development, Communications or related business fields, with track record in fundraising or income generation, with at least 5 years’ experience at Managerial level. NGO-related experience and experience of management of versatile teams is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, interpersonal networking and negotiating skills, and mature personality
• Strategic thinking and effective management insights
• Excellent conceptual and analytical ability with budget management skills, and up-to-date digital marketing skills 
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills, ability to independently handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and command of both written and oral English, Chinese/Cantonese/ Putonghua is a must
