Job Description

(Monthly Salary: MPS14 – 18 // 21 ; $30,235 - $36,765 // $42,545)

Major Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for IT system management, monitoring, backup / recovery and patch management for website, servers, firewall and network infrastructure
  • To conduct troubleshoot, diagnose and solve hardware / software faults, and coordinate with the HKAM Secretariat and vendors for related maintenance
  • To support team members on the development, implementation and vendor liaison of innovative education programmes
  • To analyse relevant data and operation information at regular intervals, and prepare analytical reports
  • To provide day-to-day general IT support, such as equipment and database maintenance, venue and tele-communications set-up, e-learning platform maintenance, etc.; and
  • To undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Academy.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, with a minimum of four years’ relevant experience
  • Solid experience in PHP, HTML5, CSS, MySQL and open source software (i.e. Drupal, Moodle)
  • Experience in website development / applications configuration on Linux system
  • Basic Knowledge in design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) and VR / AR technology is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Team player, responsible, self-motivated, able to work independently and proactively
  • Good command of written and verbal English and Chinese; and
  • Immediately available is preferred.

The successful candidate will be employed on a contract basis, which is renewable subject to the appointee’s performance and the needs of the Academy. Starting salary will commensurate with qualification and experience of the successful candidate.
