Promotion of Teaching Excellence
Supervising, motivating and appraising teachers and support staff in order to achieve high levels of student engagement and success in an academically rigorous setting; contributing leadership in best practices which helps teachers improve and expand their teaching skills; collaborating to develop excellent professional development opportunities for all staff; working closely with Chinese members to provide the integration of Chinese and western curriculum and practices.
Oversight of Curriculum Development
Supporting efforts to refine the School's unique curriculum to give students a strong academic foundation developing from the Primary Division and preparing students for the High School Division and needs of competitive international university admissions;
Oversight of Chinese Curriculum and Test Requirements
Maintaining good relations with Shanghai and Changning district education officials; staying current with curriculum and testing requirements; providing timely information to staff; overseeing campus testing; being responsible for government reports;
Marketing and Admissions
Supporting efforts to attract the right students and guiding the Admissions Committee to ensure that selection of students is based on fair and effective practices;
Campus Culture and Student Pastoral Care
Ensuring student safety and health, while promoting healthy physical and emotional development and the formation of strong values and character; supporting a positive and inclusive campus culture and community for all teachers and students;
Parent Communications
Ensuring the School's approach and practices are well articulated to parents and that any issues or concerns raised are dealt with effectively;
Promoting the School
Helping the School increase its visibility and recognition both within China and internationally;
Financial Management
Budgeting and financial management in order to ensure a sound financial basis for operations of the school;
Cross-School Initiatives
Working with counterparts at the Primary School and High School on cross-campus initiatives and alignment of programs and practices;
Other areas as assigned by the Principal.

Requirements:
1. University degree in related field, advanced degree and/or certification in educational leadership;
2. Teachers' qualification Certificate;
3. Educational leadership experience in a bicultural environment and a proven ability to help support communications between a range of stakeholders; understanding of best educational practices from around the world;
4. Preferred working knowledge of Shanghai Curriculum and SEC examinations (Xueye kao and Zhongkao);
5. Mandarin Chinese and English fluency, including both speaking and writing;
6. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders in all other departments of the school;
7. Excellent organization skills and high attention to detail;
8. Outstanding interpersonal skills;
9. Support for the School mission and core beliefs;
10. Competency in the use of technology including word processing, spreadsheet development, survey technologies, and web-based applications;
薪酬待遇
Base salary ranges from 30K to 60K;
