Our client is an international developer for real estate development, corporate finance, telecommunications and fund management in all corners of the world. They are seeking for an experienced Structural Engineer to take on a Deputy Technical Director role for a mixed-used development project in South East Asia. Responsibility

• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
• Obtain planning and building regulations approval.
• Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
• Administer contracts and manage project’s structure works.
• Monitor the progress from initial stages to its completion.
• Oversee concept design models and solutions.
• Ensuring that legal regulations are maintained
• Making sure that health and safety guidelines are met
• Explain complex conceptual information in simple terms to client

Requirement

• Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering related
• Min. 15 years’ experience in Structural Engineering, must have work on large mixed-used development projects
• Chartered Engineer – HKIE/MIStrucE
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• In-depth scientific knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Good technical skills
• Able to work and be stationed overseas
