We are a team developing an innovative software platform that improves the quality and productivity of Intel designs teams. This is a key initiative for Intel to transform the ways SoCs are built.
In this role you will work as the primary contact with our customers who will include data center architects, design engineers and design engineering managers. The goal of the product is to create automated and easy to use solutions for SoC design problems. Given this goal you are expected to become a domain expert who can drive the engagements and work and build SoCs with customers to ensure the product is deployed successfully. You will be the point of contact to the development team for enhancements and prioritization of features, towards ensuring the product addresses design team needs.
You will also be involved in the development and testing of software tools and flows. Design Application Engineers are advocates of applying design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality
We are looking for an energetic team player with strong self-motivation, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to work under tight time constraints and prioritize accordingly.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in computer science or computer engineering with 3+ years of experience, or MS in computer science or computer engineering with 2+ years of experience:
- Knowledge of GIT
- Scripting
- Hardware or Firmware
- Semiconductor industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Python
- Silicon Architecture/Micron Architecture
- Linux
- RTL (System Verilog) languages

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
