Intel Israel CPU EDA team, providing design teams with tools and methodologies, is seeking electrical/computer engineers to join us, working on enabling challenging VLSI layout verification software that impacts Intel projects worldwide. Our products are used internally by electrical engineers to ensure their designs are qualified for high volume manufacturing. We are enhancing our tools to support the growing demands of the latest VLSI manufacturing technologies and to improve our predictability of new and complex layout designs. A diverse interest and skillsets in both electrical and software engineering would be an advantage. We code in Python and Perl, providing tools, flows, and methodologies for layout work. The job would include enhancing and supporting Layout Validation solutions based on both in-house and industry-leading CAD tools for design teams across the entire company.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in relevant domains
• Passion for electrical engineering mixed with SW skill set.
• Team player.
• Ability and motivation to learn new skills and domains.
• High work ethics.

Advantages

• Knowledge in ICV or Calibre
• Knowledge in LVS and DRC debug
• Knowledge in VLSI and digital circuit device-level modelling.
• Experience in back-end design/validation.
• Experience in coding and debugging in Perl or Python.
• Experience with Unix and shell environments, source control (like GitHub).
• Fluency in English.
