As part of the PESG (Product Enabling Solutions Group) Design Infrastructure (DI) West Operations (Ops) team, you will be critical to the future success of Intel!
The Ops team is the interface between all Intel pre-silicon design groups in using Infrastructure tools, flows and methods (TFM) in the design systems Intel uses. We enable best in class tooling for revision control, data management, Analytics as well as design handoff for product integration and design quality assessment.
This job opening is for a Design Automation Engineer to handle customer support and aid in development of the following HDK design system based TFMs:
Sync Custom Kit (handles design access controls, etc)
Blocks Info DB query/manipulation/access/seeding
HDK project creation and validation tool ownership as well as providing consultation to who uses it
DesignSync tool support
This job also requires learning and handling customer support of following CTH design system based TFMs:
Blocks Info DB query/manipulation/access
CTH project creation and validation tool ownership as well as providing consultation to who uses it
Other requirements:
Works well in a team environment
Verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable, willing to make solid contributions and meet commitments while working remote
Good problem navigator and solver
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and:
Python, Perl and Linux shell programming languages
Linux O/S
MySQL/MS SQL DB topics (connect, create table, query, manipulate, etc)
Preferred Qualifications
Jenkins, Splunk, Cliosoft and / or Perforce applications is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
