With us, you can do something significant that benefits society and human progress Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Creation of drawings in 3D/2D CAD software (Preferred in NX and AutoCAD) 2D and 3D design of steam turbine components – blades, groove plans, blade plans, blade assembly, turbine rotor, casings, stationary & rotating blades, gland seal components, bolting etc. for all kinds of HP, IP, and LP turbines. Preparation and checking of assembly drawings, detailed drawings, manufacturing sketches, layouts, inspection data and bill of materials per design specifications following drawing/ modeling, Team center & SAP guidelines. Creation of blade detailed models for manufacturing LP turbines. Support blade engineering to evaluate non-conformance reports and defines further measures & troubleshooting for manufacturing deviations and field issues. Communicate within the engineering to define required hardware scope on a site-specific basis within defined boundary conditions. Performs studies to ensure proper form, fit, and function of parts and/or assemblies. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds Diploma with 10-14 years of experience in Steam turbine, Gas turbine, Hydro turbine, or equivalent field in engineering role. Excellent skills in NX or Creo and Auto CAD Software. Excellent knowledge about creating blade models, blade groove plans and blading assembly models & drawings. Excellent knowledge about blade manufacturing specific design. Familiarity with steam turbine products or repair methods for major components preferably blades, bladed casing, and bladed rotor. General design knowledge regarding cast and welded design. Familiarity with the Product Development Process (PDP) as well as six sigma and lean principles. Should be comfortable working on different projects with colleagues in multiple time zones. Ability to support in multi-skilled professional teams. Ability to establish relationships, build networks in a global team setup. Advanced skills in MS-Office, SAP, Teamcenter. Excellent language proficiency in spoken and written English.
