Your new responsibilities and tasks – Challenging and future oriented Preparation of project related layout design and documentation for Overhead Catenary Systems (in the field of Railway Electrification projects) considering customer specifications and the Siemens’ regulations and standards Design models and drawings incl. 3D data driven models, layout plan, bonding plans, cross sections, clearance study & profiles, isolation diagrams and instructions Allocation Design for Contact Line Systems with Open Rail Designer (Microstation based) and/or AutoCAD Handling of OHE/OCS/OLE data within the Building Information Modelling Process (BIM) Elaboration of conceptional solutions and finding answers to ambitious requirements Clarification of internal and external interfaces related to Railway Electrification and contact line systems Technical support, analysis of technical problems and answering of technical inquiries in collaboration with the installation, the project engineering team and the project management Planning and controlling of one’s own engineering work packages in view of date, cost and quality aspects Product support in view of standardization and documentation Your qualification – Well-grounded and adequate Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, civil or mechanical engineering Preferable 8+ years of professional experience in the field of overhead catenary design/ layout design Knowledge of overhead contact line systems layout design Knowledge of BIM Modelling Professional experience in Open Rail Designer, or any Microstation modeling software and/or ACAD Advanced 3D imagination Knowledge of relevant European and international standards and railway safety principles Knowledge of traction power supply AC and DC Knowledge of engineering processes Experience in international project working environment Intercultural experience and good English language High level of customer and quality orientation We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
