The Design Evaluation Engineer will be responsible for creation of evaluation plans and bench measurement solutions that enable successful evaluation of new products across a diverse range of technologies. As part of a cross functional team, the Evaluation Engineer will work closely with test, applications and design engineers to solve issues found during new product developments and help address customers’ most challenging and complex problems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create evaluation methodology and measurement plans for new products including high-speed and precision ADCs and DACs.
- Design of hardware and software solutions to support new product evaluation.
- Evaluate functional and performance limitations of silicon down to root cause and assist in correlation of issues//bugs across platforms.
- Evaluation results analysis and compilation of reports to meet ADI’s product release requirements.
- Work with the design team to identify and implement DFT features to ease the design evaluation of future products.
Qualifications: - Graduate of BS Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal fundamentals.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills are essential requirement.
- Proficiency in LabView, Python scripting and C/C++ programming.
- Experience with bench measurement equipment such as analyzers, oscilloscopes, meters, Digital I/O.
- Printed circuit board design experience and exposure to PCB design tools is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork, inter-personal, and communication skills.
